Pretty new to this whole thing, but have a decent IT background and do minor stuff in VMware at work.

Have a HP DL380 that I installed ESXi 6.0 on. This server has a 120gb HDD for the OS. It has 3 additional 1TB HDD’s that are configured as a Raid 0.

When I login to server through vSphere Client, it does not detect the 3tb logical drive.

In Storage Adapters I have the following

         631xESB/632xESB IDE Controller
              bmhba0               ---           CDROM DRIVE
              vmhba32             ---           ???
         Smart Array P400
              vmhba1                ---           120GB OS HDD

I have read that local drives show up as remote. But that should not prevent them from showing up here… correct?

I have also read that if the drives have any preexisting data on them they may not show up. Drives are new and have been formatted.

What am I missing? It can’t possibly be this complicated.
