How upgrade DVS for stand alone ESXi host.

One ESXi host that was in DVS cluster, but client removed live host from host cluster and made it as a standalone host. But the host still a member of DVS. now need to upgrade DVS from 6.5 to 7.0 U3M. DVS setting will be upgraded for the that are still part of host cluster. But I am not sure how to upgrade standalone host. The Stand alone host having production VMs and it can't be put in maintenance mode.

There is no possible to upgrade host without putting this in maitanance mode. So vms must be powered off. 

If on this host there is a vCenter VM, you could upgrade this usinig offline depot, and esxli commands.
