Fusion 13.6.4 is now live on Broadcom's download site. Notable changes are:

    • Fixes for 5 security issues
    • Fix for a "no internet connection" issue when running macOS 15.4 or later. This issue seems to impact DNS resolution not working properly.

It appears that VMware Tools for version 12.5.3 are included for Windows guests with Fusion 13.6.4.

Fusion 13.6.4 can be downloaded from Broadcom's support portal.  Download and run the installer to upgrade existing Fusion 13 installations as in-product upgrades are no longer available.

Release notes can be found here

You might want to install this new release if you're security minded. One of the CVE's fixed in 13.6.4 relates to a critical severity security issue that allows an unprivileged user in the guest to potentially execute code on the host when using a vmxnet3 virtual NIC. The issue seems to be within Fusion on the host and not the guest operating system's drivers for the vmxnet3 NIC.

For anyone wondering why Fusion 13.6.4. still checks for updates even though there currently is no update server and why we didn't just remove update checks entirely, it is not because we're lazy nor because we don't care.  We care about that a lot.  See my other post where I explain the difficult choice we had to make: https://community.broadcom.com/vmware-cloud-foundation/discussion/vmsa-2025-0013-vmware-workstation-1764-and-fusion-1364-released#bm746dc07b-5955-4bd8-81b4-01981f5a5d99
