Failed to create NFC download stream.

Hi

We use Veeam BR to backup our Vmware environment, recently we have started so see Failed to create NFC download stream. The strange thing is

that Veeam retryies the job and then it goes sucessfull.

So, SOAP connection to the host from the Veeam B&R server works intermittently - on the first run of the job it doesn't work, but works on retry. You could supply the VMware support with this information.

There are multiple VEEAM kbs and workarounds mentioned all over the net. Can you confirm if you have check these to rule out the usual suspects??

As far as i can see there is no issues in our vsphere configuration, dns works, host files added on veeam serverand so on. the user for veeam have administrator privs in vsphere.

Yesterday  a new server failed with the same error as earlier. only to be sucessful in Veeams next retry of the job.

I strongly believe that this is a support case for Veeam solution as many users have faced this issue

i have changed the service account for veeam and changed it to my own administrator account see if it helps.
