Evaluating backup software, syncsort, commvault, netbackup. Opinions?

I know it's been posted before, but most of those threads look to be pretty stale. Anyhoo...

I need a backup solution. I like some of the stuff out there that focuses on VMware, but a lot of those don't get application layer within the VM. I need to be able to not only get the VM, but I want to be able to pull Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, etc. And, I'd like to get some CDR in there too for critical apps. The three leaders (that I've found) are the ones in the subject line. I'm leaning towards Syncsort.

Any opinions on these, or suggestions for other products that will do what I need?

    Hi

I would defenately evaluate CommVault. I have seen Demo's of it and i love it. It can handle all your listed requirements. Also it has a great Deduplication feature.

    I don't know Syncsort.
