Edited on 2024-12-27 to fix a typo in the "Others:" link.

Broadcom no longer bundles older versions of VMware Tools in the current releases of both Fusion and Workstation. They indicate that the old versions can be downloaded, but they can be difficult to find.

Here's a list of common "Legacy" VMware Tools installer ISOs and links to their download:

Linux (for use in older Linux kernels whose repositories don't contain open-vm-tools)
