I tried that but cannot authenticate for the download as the mandatory company name for my profile only has one character (Even though I have no company name in reality) and the system rejects that.

Subject: Cannot download VMware Workstation pro updates
I personally own two vmware workstation 17 pro lifetime licenses. However, they are not registered in my broadcom entitlements. And as I do not have a site ID it seems I cannot register them though they were registered with vmware.
So, I cannot download upgrades of the licensed software I purchased that way.
I then followed the procedure to download and tried the personal use version as a possible workaround. However, when validating my details that option is blocked as I only have one character in my company name in my profile (As I do not have a company) and it refuses to allow me to download.
So how to I download updates to the licensed software that I have a lifetime license for ?
