    I am new to VMWare, but want to give Fusion Pro a try and maybe even replace Parallels on my MBP M1.

    After finding the unofficial guide with instructions how to convert a Parallels VM I gave it a try.

    One of the first steps is to remove the Parallels Tools from the Parallels VM. But this changes the display resolution to 1024x768 (I had mine at 1804x1040).

    Then I did the rest of the conversion, started the VM in Fusion 13.5.2 but now habe the problem that the display resolution came over as 1024x768, but the option is greyed out, thus, cannot be changed.

    Is this a know issue and is there another option to change the resolution?
