Adding additional cluster with vVols and new/second array to existing an Workload domain

I have an existing workload domain where the cluster is using vVols with iSCSI from a Pure Flashblade array.

We have a department that will be purchasing their own servers and storage array for their workloads. This is political and not technical decision. But we'd like to minimize management, e.g. single NSX Manager, fewer vCenters to patch, etc.

Is it possible to add a new (second) cluster to the existing workload domain also using vVols and iSCSI but the storage is from a second/different Pure array?

We would need to register new/second array as VASA in vCenter and assume this can be done manually. We can also register the array as storage provider in SDDC Manager, but I don't think this applies except for creating the workload domain and it's first cluster.

    Thanks.
