I am close to one week waiting in front of this popup, honestly it is disappointing. I own two perpetual licenses for VMware Fusion but it is hard to believe I will but anything else.

Thank for that info ---- Since I just used "player" in the past --- I never purchased workstation at all, so I was supprised that I was able to call support and speak to a live agent an get a case number --- but as other have noted on this thread it could be a long hall before anything is done --- Sometime I wonder when "they" change the policy to make there products free for personal use, don't they realize they need for the "support" to support this --- so far it does not seems they fully thought this out ---- I just hope is does not take "weeks" for me to be able to download it

It took me less than 5 minutes once I provided my Site ID to the automated system to speak with a customer care representative. From that point it took about 15 minutes before we fixed my profile so that I could download the personal use products (Fusion and Workstation).
But, I am still unable to access my paid-for Fusion Pro license keys and the non-personal use product downloads that correspond to them. That's a bigger problem due to Broadcom's mis-guided, brain damaged policy of denying users that don't have an active support contract access to perpetually licensed product keys and installer downloads they paid for.

I would call the support number and open a case for access to the support portal. I was faced with this same issue and the only way it's gotten resolved after waiting a couple of weeks was to actually speak to a customer care rep. They performed some magic behind the scenes to get my migrated account to be able to download the personal use products. Relying on them to "fix things" or opening a case using their 'web request form" will result in no forward movement.
That doesn't solve the problem of accessing licenses and product that you already paid for. Their broken policy of "no product download or license keys unless you have a valid support entitlement" is a slap in the face to their VMware customers that purchased their products under their old perpetual licensing terms (which did not require a support contract to download product that was paid for).
