    I have a question,
After I downloaded this app, I lost about 100GB of space from my storage.(I don't have any virtual machine)
sorry for the noob question and bad grammar

In my experience, the Workstation application doesn't use anything close to 100GB of disk space. Especially if you've not created any virtual machines. From https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/90112?lang=en_US&queryTerm=90112

    Workstation Pro installation:

    • 1.2 GB of available disk space for the application
    • Additional hard disk space is required for each virtual machine
    • Please refer to the vendor's recommended disk space for specific guest operating systems
      Supported Guest Operat

I'd do further examination to figure out where the space is being used. .

    Thank you for your reply,

I don't think the space lost is actually used and I noticed that I once used geek to remove and reinstall vmware

I don't know if it matters.

I remember that I clicked on this page a little before reinstallation

Sounds as if it might have been an accidental default config during install.

It also looks like you might be close to a limit of how many VMs you could create based on the initial post images.  You may want to also consider options for external drive use for VMs with Workstation as you go forward.

So you not only installed Workstation, but created a virtual machine. The virtual machine’s disks will take up additional space on your disk as you install the operating system and use the virtual machine.

The option to split virtual disks into multiple pieces typically provides the lowest use of disk space. The pieces start out small, and grow as you use disk space in the VM. Other types of virtual disks consume more disk space (with the option to fully allocate the disk consuming the entire amount of configured space).

You may want to review the documentation to get a better understanding of how Workstation works.

It seems that you hacve created VMs Previously and then deleted them but you just removed them from the inventory not from the disk. Please check at Workstation settings where the VMs are storaged and then check if you have the VMs orphaned there.

Other solution is to download treeSizeView and there you can find whats filling all your disk.
