    Hi,

I am using VMware 14 and installed Ubuntu 16 on it. It worked fine, and I spent some months coding my research in ns3. I installed 3 Ubuntu OSs named Khan1, Ayan, and Hassan for ns3.34, 3.35, etc. These were located in the C:\Users\HassanZeb\VirtualBox VMs directory. After some time, I took a break from using VMware. Now, when I open it, I cannot see the above three OSs in the VM but still in the C:\Users\HassanZeb\VirtualBox VMs directory. There are now only .vdi, .vbox-prev, and .vbox files and no vmx files, etc. I have searched the internet but not successfully. Also, I tried to uninstall VMware, but it gives me the error "Failed to open virtual machine: VMX file is corrupt". Also, when I install a new Ubuntu, it gives me the error "Error while powering on: VMware Player cannot connect to the virtual machine. Make sure you have the rights to run the program, access all directories the program uses, and access all directories for temporary files. The VMX process exited prematurely." Please help with this problem.
