I seem to be getting a PSOD every few weeks on one of my servers. I'm going to make sure the drivers/bios are all up to date, but in the meantime can anyone help me translate the error screen? Is there something I can do to mitigate these PSODs?
Yes, in other similar forum questions, sometimes its a driver or BIOS that is out of date. It is also possible that you have a corrupted memory partition - less fun. But you're on the right path to checking the easiest fix first.
The PIP Panic requested by another CPU PSOD is caused by a heartbeat timeout during a FastSlab allocation when there is high memory fragmentation. This issue is resolved in VMware ESXi 7.0 Update 3g.
