  • 1.  Windows server 2003 on Mac VM Fusion

    HI Everyone,

    I have a mac with VM Fusion installed in it, can I Install windows 2003 server in VM and run any enterprise software without any issues.

    Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

    I had no problems installing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and setting up DHCP Server, DNS etc., however when you ask "run any enterprise software without any issues" I can't definitively answer that because "any" is all inclusive and having not tried everything yet I can't say that there will not be any issues whatsoever.  Even on a Physical Machine one cannot run everything available without some issues so I'd expect it to be the same in a Virtual Machine.

    Thank you for your reply, it was really helpful, May be I'm asking too much here. I want to install SAP Business Objects in VM, (NOTE: This is just a basic deployment where I want all the required cmponents for Business Objects installation in my VM) so I want to know the impacts, let me know if you ever tried this.
