    Tried to install windows but got this error:

    Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken

    Anyone have a solution?

    A few more details would be helpful, as this error can have multiple causes  

    Please start by zipping up the vmware.log file found in the VMs bundle and attaching it to a reply in this thread.

    To find the vmware.log file in the virtual machine’s bundle

      • In the Virtual Machine Library, control-right click the name of your virtual machine
      • Select “Show Config File in Finder”

    A window will appear showing the contents of your virtual machine. You should now be able to find the vmware.log file.

    Also need the host hardware and OS versions, as well as the fusion version.

    That's nice to have too - it'll make our life easier.

    .As a side note, I've found that most of that information can be found in the vmware.log file.. It will tell Fusion version, macOS version, and the CPU model. We can make an educated guess on the Mac model using the CPU model and info from everymac.com. Although telling us that bit of information (along with the memory and hard drive size) makes things easier...
