I am running Leopard on a Mac Pro.

Within Fusion 2.02 I am running XP and Vista.

All USB devices, Harddrives, Ipod and dongles work properly, except the Alladin HASP HL dongles

I have 3 HASP HL dongles (3.12 and 2.16). Leopard recognizes them.

When I try to connect them, there is a little flickering of the dongle-led and then nothing . . .

In settings of the virtual machine when I select the USB device in a split second my selection is gone.

I think the problem is Fusion (Before the update it worked!)

    Sombody hints??

If you have hasp driver loaded on the Mac, uninstall them.

Easiest way is to just use the installer to remove them. I have not found a way to unload them once they are loaded.

In my case I see that if Mac based USB driver gets the hasp at any point on a specific USB port, it does not release it to the VM.

Once the mac has loaded the drivers for a hasp on that USB port you can never get it from VM unless the hasp drivers are installed.

Here is the link to the drivers site:http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/enduser.aspx

    You 're right.

I 've unloaded the driver on my Mac.

    It is working fine now

    Thanks
