I well now VMware Workstation for Windows.
VMware Fusion is the only one VMware virtualization option for Mac, but I have read that it also works on Windows.

Then, What is the difference between using Workstation or Fusion Pro on windows? If there are 2 different options, they have to have something different.

Why should I choose Workstation or Fusion Pro for a Windows host?

Discussion moved from VMware Fusion Technology Preview 2014 to VMware Fusion® (for Mac)

That's not the case. VMware Fusion can only be used on MAC operating system, and VMware Workstation is for Windows and/or Linux.

Not sure what you read or where however on the VMware Fusion Professional product page I can see that the main graphic image could cause confusion the way it's worded compared to the the main graphic image on the VMware Fusion product page.  The Professional version says "Virtual Machines on Mac or PC" while the other says "Run Windows on your Mac".

VMware Fusion 6 Professional's Licence Key is also usable on VMware Player 6 Plus, which runs on Linux and Windows, and probably why it was worded "Virtual Machines on Mac or PC" however as already mentioned by André VMware Fusion is only for OS X.

Yes, I realize that Fusion is only for Mac, no for Win. I firstly understood wrong.
