I need some help setting up a host-only network from my Macbook to Windows XP running under VMware Fusion Beta 4. I go into setting for the virtual machine and set network to host-only, but when I boot Windows XP it has no internet.

Any tips or help would be great.

    Thanks

Well, if you set up your VM's networking to use Host-Only, then that is all you get! A private network between that one guest, and your host. You cannot get to the internet, your LAN, etc.

Ok, I thought that it was like parallels. The guest uses the hosts internet connection, so that the guest is unseen from the outside world.

Its not host-only that I want, it was NAT.

Both Bridged or NAT would give your VM access to the internet.
