  • 1.  Mac Crashing

    My MacBook crashes when VMWare Fusion is left on during sleep. If I shut down Fusion before closing the lid, the Mac stays alive on start-up. Have upgraded to the latest 11.5.5 version which was stable for two days before the crashing again commenced. Even tried upgrading BootCamp drivers, to no avail. Surprisingly though BootCamp did find more Windows updates than through Fusion.

    Does the 11.5.5 version of Fusion still crash the Mac?

    If your Mac is running Catalina 10.15.6 this thread shows a MacOS bug which may be the cause: VM Ware Fusion potentially causes macOS 10.15.6 to crash
