  • 1.  Disable AntiVirus Alerts w Fusion 6

    I installed Fusion 6 yesterday on a Macbook and loaded Windows 8.1

    I was very pleased with VM's installation videos.

    I choose not to install McAfee antivirus and use ESET Nod32.

    Each time I open Fusion 6, I get an alert to install antivirus software on Windows and an offering to install McAfee.

    How to I disable these alerts?

    Hi Tincan561,

    I never download the version of Fusion that comes with the McAfee promo, so am not exactly sure what popup you are seeing, but the reply from WoodyZ in the following thread might help:

    If there is not a check box on the message to not show again then have a look at Disabling dialogs in VMware Fusion (2008647) and although for older versions of VMware Fusion nonetheless I believe it still works.
