I downloaded the latest 22621.1_PROFESSIONAL_ARM64_ZH-CN.iso from UUP dump. The installation was successful. I can drag any file from Mac to VMware When you install other software, it will kill it as a malicious virus. You can't turn off Windows defender because you can't open it

Your subject line indicates that you are running a Tiny11 (stripped down version of Windows 11) VM, but you also say you've downloaded an ISO from UUP dump - which is not where you get Tiny11 from. What is the OS you are running in the VM?

When you say that "when you install other software, it will kill it as a malicious virus", what is getting flagged as a virus? The software that's being installed or files that you drag to Windows?

If you're running Tiny11, then I'd suspect that your problem has nothing to do with Fusion, but that Tiny11 is missing some Windows components. Drag/Drop of files works fine with a standard Windows 11 installation in a VM.

If it's the UUPdump 22621.1 version, what operating system did you build the ISO on? If it's macOS, the uupdump authors indicate that trying to build Windows 11 ISOs on anything other than Windows platforms will result in a broken ISO. That typically means the installation looks like it's OK, but in reality is missing components and not configured correctly.

I just installed Tiny11 ARM from the Internet Archive (archive.org). Once I installed VMware Tools in the VM, drag/drop works in both directions.

Did you use the Tiny11 from archive.org or did you build your own Tiny11 from instructions found on GitHub https://github.com/Naazim-Apps/tiny11-arm which involve using scripts to hack a download from uupdump.net? It's possible that the GitHub scripts are missing things that the archive.org version has.

I'd also be careful about updating Tiny11 ARM from Windows Update. I just tried to install the latest available updates from Microsoft into my freshly installed Tiny11 ARM VM, and it broke it. Things such as file associations are messed up so badly that I couldn't even get the Settings app to start.

The same process worked fine on X64.

I'm wondering if Tiny11 on ARM isn't quite ready for prime time yet.
