Windows 11 ARM officially supported by M3 Macs running VMware Fusion?

I ask in relation to this news:

Windows 11 ARM officially supported by M3 Macs running VMware Fusion?

Windows 11 ARM officially supported by M3 Macs running Parallels Desktop ARM versions of Windows 11 were already authorized by Microsoft to run on Parallels Desktop for M1 and M2 Macs in 2023. However, Apple revealed the M3 processor family in October and that authorization needed to be updated.

According to an updated support document from Microsoft, all three M-series generations are now authorized to run ARM versions of Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise via Parallels Desktop 18 and 19. To be clear, this isn't the full version of x86 Windows that run on Intel PCs, nor is this version able to run 32-bit ARM applications.

It’s a nothing burger, IMO. Sounds like just checking the box on hardware - it would be similar to getting a brand new Intel chip on Microsoft’s official supported processor list.

Fusion’s support list for host and guest operating systems does not care what Apple silicon chip is in use, so there doesn’t appear to be a supportability issue

has there been any change on getting Fusion on that Microsoft blessed solution list? It’s a terrible look marketing-wise not having that blessing, even though we all know Windows 11 works on Fusion just fine. It also sends a message that the big old VMware with the amount of customers that use Microsoft products doesn’t have the same amount of clout with Microsoft as a smaller company.

There are a lot of things I can talk about.

This is not one of them, sorry.
