Running Windows 10 on a 2017 iMac. When starting the following error message appears before the program then opens fully.

serial: Parameter "serial. fileType" has an invalid value

    "thinprint"

Virtual device 'serial' will start disconnected.

Unable to process CD-ROM device 'cdromO': No such file or directory.

Virtual device 'sata0:1' will start disconnected.

Please advise what I might need to change to stop this message appearing.

Can you share what VMs you seem to have running or auto-starting in Fusion?

Also betting Technogeezer will weigh in, he's got deep experience with Fusion.

    Hi,

I am including a screenshot of what appears when I open VMWare Fusion 13.5 on my iMac running g Mac OS Ventura 13.6.4.

I thought that it would be just a normal update from a previous version and not sure what needs to be done to stop this warning appearing each time.

Once opened, the program works well.

    Regards,

In the VM's settings, remove the 'virtual printer' device.  ThinPrint was removed in 13.5 and newer, per the release notes.

See VMware KB article https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/95329 for instructions on how to remove this warning. You can't do it from the VM's Settings in Fusion 13.5 like you can for Workstation 17.5.
