When launching an application in my vm I get this error: A D3D11-compatible GPU (Feature Level 11.0, Shader Model 5.0) is required to run the engine.

Is there anything I can do to get this working?

The host is a MacBook with m2 chip. The guest is windows 11 arm.

Please let me know if you have a solution or if there is no known solution let me know what the problem is here exactly.

    Thanks.

I assume that you have VMware Tools installed and that you have 3D acceleration in the VM's settings.

Usually errors of this kind are associated with games. If you're trying to run a game, what game is it?

From the limited research I've done on the web, one of the steps recommended is to upgrade your GPU driver. The graphics device in the VMware VM is a virtual device, so the only GPU that matters to the VM is the VMware virtual device. And you already have the latest driver for that if you've installed VMware Tools, so you can't "upgrade the GPU driver".
