Prometheus monitoring Tanzu TKGS cluster

Hey All,

We are attempting to follow https://veducate.co.uk/vrops-kubernetes-prometheus-telegraf/#Install_the_Telegraf_Kubernetes_Plugin for our Tanzu TKGS installation and having a bit of an issue connecting to our vrops installation trying with even just basic auth even with a blank auth we get the error in vrops 

Credentials provided do not have "Read" access to the cluster

We are at least hitting the control plane as we are getting the accept pop up on the ssl certificate. Our tkgs version is 1.26.8 guest cluster is 1.28.7 sorta stuck as to how to get it working any help appreciated.

You can monitor your TGKS/VKS Clusters with just VCF Operations and the kubelet. No Telegraf or promtheus is required with VCF Ops + Kubernetes Management Pack. Have a look at: https://soultec.ch/how-to-monitor-vsphere-supervisor-and-guest-clusters-with-aria-operations/
