    YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE LOCATION.

    May i know the reason why you want to change the location?

    If Shared Update folder is  growing in size then follow this. ( It is a work around)

    1. Stop Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Service

    2. Stop SMC ( Start => Run => smc -stop )

    3. Delete old content in C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\Shared Update folder

    4. Restart Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Service

    5. Restart SMC ( Start => Run => smc -start )

    Question, could you manipulate the location they are stored by using features of NTFS, such as a Symbolic link or Junction Point?  I'm not sure such actions would be supported by Symantec, but I know many Admins who use those features to work around technical limitations.

    Try by installing SEP in another drive in the PC which you designated as GUP.
    How to create a Symantec Endpoint Protection install package that will install to a different drive

    this is just for testing .Pls post the result back..
