  • 1.  "The current disk is not the first in the set" Error 1972

    Hello,

I am encountering an issue with an image I sent to our oversea office. They had those little thin client without DVD Roms, so I made a bootable DVD with the image integrated on the DVD. But when they load with their External USB DVD Drive, it doesn't work. When I select the DVD-Rom it gives me the error The current disk is not the first in the set.

Can you please assist me on this problem?

    Regards,
    Kevin

Are you getting to the Ghost executable, or is it failing prior to that? If it is failing, you may want to create USB-based boot media. The thin client machine typically have very limited hard drive space, so the image is likely to fit, along with the boot media, on a 1GB or 2GB USB memory stick. Also, make sure that all the LiveUpdates for Ghost have been ran. The version number 11.5.0.2141 will appear on the first page of the boot wizard at the latest build.
