  • 1.  SEP 12.1 prompting for restart, but configured for "No restart"

Under General Settings, Restart Settings, I set the radio button to "No Restart" for the group that the machine is in.  I then built a new install EXE.  The new install is still displaying the reboot message asking the user to restart now or delay the restart.

    Hello,

The Settings you are talking about are used for Policies and not for Packages and Installation.

Did you create the Package with the same settings of NO RESTART?

Check this Article for the same:

    Hope that helps!!

I didn't realize that.  Thanks!  That should fix it.

Update: I changed the scheduled reboot tab to "No Restart", created a new install EXE, installed from that EXE, and I'm still getting the reboot prompt.
