    Is it possible to reset passward of SEPM 12.1 using any tools like SEPM 11.x ?

    HI,

    I think this tool not working in sepm 12.1 but you can check and try and also check thease artical.

    Hi Farid,

    Please try with this I hope it will help you.

     

     

    To reset the administrator password

    1. Open Windows Explorer on the computer that runs Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
    2. Locate the Drive:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools folder.
    3. Double-click resetpass.bat. (Run 4-5 time)

      The user name and password are reset to admin.

    4. Log on to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager using admin for both the user name and the password, and change the password.

    Hi,

    It may work however to provide more security Symantec has removed the resetpass.bat file from tools folder. Symantec has removed it from SEP 12.1 RU1 release.

    I agree with Chetan.Resetpass.bat file has been romed from tool folder of SEP,

    However , You can call Symantec support team and get  resetpass tool .

    Hi Farid,

    Please change ur server's date and time if it is  wrong and then run the reset.batch file 4-5 time then u will be able to resset the password.
