  • 1.  Symantec Clients not Showing Up in ENd POint Console

    Hi,

    I had to manually install about half my clients, becuase I kept getting the please reboot for pending instllation screen, now the problem is the clietns I installed manually dont show up in the end point manager, how cna I make them show up.

    did you install the clients , from CD1
    try this document to make them as managed

    How to change a Symantec Endpoint Protection client from unmanaged to managed in MR1 and MR2.

    you can use sylink tool to remotely push the sylink.

     Replace sylink.xml on them

    copy sylink.xml from a working/communicating client from
    program files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection or Symantec Antivirus

    copy it to the client

    go to start -> run -> smc -stop

    replace the sylink.xml

    then start -> run -> smc -start
