    hi,

    I need to upgrade SEP 11 version.

    One of my question we have more than 2000 client system, can SEP 12.1 manage sep 11.x client .

    While SEP 12.1 cannot be installed on this unsupported Windows 2000 OS, Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 can successfully protect Windows 2000 computers until they have been retired from the organization.

    For such circumstances, a legacy SEP 11 client is included in the SEP 12.1 DVD .iso. ("SAVLegacy32.dat" in SEPM\AdditionalPackages)

    SEP 11 clients can successfully be managed by a SEP 12.1 Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM).  A sylink.xml file from the desired SEP 12.1 client group can be imported ("dropped" or "replaced") on the SEP 11 client, enabling it to receive policies, definitions and other necessary communications from the SEPM.  For full details, please see the articles referenced below.

    Yes SEPM 12.1 can Manage SEP 11.x Agents/clients

    i have saying i am having more than 2000 SEP client systems...
