  • 1.  Where can I locate SEP 12.1 Release Update (RU) 2 for Win 8?

    Hello All,

    Symantec article TECH174348 explains that SEP support for Windows 8 begins with SEP 12.1 RU2. It then directs me to the fileconnect website to get the update. The trouble is that there's no such version listed on the fileconnect website. Does anyone know where to find SEP 12.1 RU2?

    Which version is listed?

    FileConnect is the only place you can get the download. You need the proper serial key of course.

    Here's what I have upon logging in with my serial:

    You may want to place a call to support if you have a valid serial and 12.1.2 is not showing up. It has been out for some time now.

    https://fileconnect.symantec.com with proper serial number you can download the latest version.

    If you the license Serial number of 12.x version then you can find the 12.1 RU2 version in file connect.

    Currently the newest SEP 12.1 is RU2 MP1 - this one provides as well full support for windows 8:

    Do you have the softcopy of the license in that you can get the serial number to download the same.
