Hi ,
Iam working in an organisation with 300+ branches. The bandwidth utilization goes extremely high on peak hours due to antivrus updation which takes place in those branches. Is ther any way of scheduling the update installation in non-peak hours? We are using symantec endpoint protection manager 12.1.. and have created 300+ groups for our individual branches.
Thanks, anish

you to change the Liveupdate Policy for SEPM to update itself at a particular time
and SEP to update themselves aswell only 1 time in entire day.
Hi Ashish,
Thanks for the post. But would it work without a live update server?
In our organisation, we onle have a SEP manager 12.1 which is our symatec server.

Anish
Yes,this setting available in SEPM server.
You can set this setting in symantec server
Thanks Ashish.. I was a bit confused with this as i thought it is possible only if we have a seperate Live update server.
