    Hi,

Some of our users have been experiencing slow boot and shutdown issues in Windows 7 and after exentsive troubleshooting with Microsoft Tech Support it would appear it is related to the bhdrvx64 and bhdrvx86 drivers. After uninstalling the SEP client this verifies the issue is resolved, we are running 12.1.3001.165.

Can anyone please advise further on how we can resolve this?

    Regards

    Leon

Have you try to install latest SEP 12.1.5 client. ?

Try to install new sep client and check issue.

It's a few versions behind, may want to check with 12.1.5 (latest). I believe this is related to PTP. Do you have the full component suite installed?

Proactive Threat Protection Component (heuristics or behavioral analysis).

You could try stopping the service to see if that corrects it (as a test)
