I currently have SEP RU1 MP1, using IE9, FF, or Chrome, I am getting this error message when I log into the SEP web console and navigate between screens:

    "Internal Error:

There was a Javascript error while processing your request. Please try again or contact your system administrator."

Could be an issue with java heap size...try this -

    1) In Sepm folder go to C:\Programme\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\webapps\ajaxswing\WEB-INF\ajaxswing\bin\setenv.bat

    2) Edit setenv.bat and open with notepad.

    3) Look out for value -Xms512m -Xmx1024m.

    4) Change it to -Xms256m -Xmx512m

    Hi,

Check following article if anything relates to you.

Accessing SEPM Web Access on https://localhost:8443/console/apps/sepm displays error - "initializing, please wait...." then "AjaxSwing Error - Internal Error"

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH131806

    Hello,

What OS are you running the Java console from ?

    Is that Windows 2008 server?

If yes, try disabling Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC).

Probably, reenabling IE ESC again, would have the SEPM Web Console cfunction as design.

    Hope that helps!!

Hello, all, thank you for your response to my post. However, I think I know what the issue was. The administrator logging into the SEPM console was doing so over a Juniper portal and communication back to the SEPM was not properly established with this method of accessing the SEP manager.
