  • 1.  SEP11 MP2 upgrade causing clients to loose UP Stacks

    So I pushed the MP2 upgrade via the SEPM server and now I am getting feedback from clients that they have quite a few reports where Recently upgraded systems are loosing connectivity. IPCONFIG shows nothing and they are forced to reload their IP stacks and reboot. This is a problem since I have many remote users with limited access to support. Is there some precaution I could take to prevent this from happening? Is there some tool I can use to fix this?

    The issue sounds  very  critical. I think, it would be advisable to call support on https://support.broadcom.com, and let them research on this.

    What version did you upgrade from?

    Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6200 (RU6 MP2) can migrate seamlessly over the following:

    11.0.6000.550 (RU6),

    11.0.6005.562 (RU6a)

    11.0.6100.645 (RU6MP1).

    I have also seen this issue on MR2 is there a fix?

    I would open a case with support ASAP. Lets get Engineering involved, so they get to the root cause of the issue.
