  • 1.  copy file job!

    I have a copy file job that works if I run it against a host directly. If I create a simple policy to test it - it fails. Cant figure it out...

    theres nothing in the client logs or server logs I can see! the lcient log just says its completed. But you see its failed on the client.

     

    Any ideas! MR4

    By directly, do you mean Windows copy\paste, or command line?

    Where are you copying from\to?

    Its a copyfile task. If I use the quick run on a PC its successful. I have created a test policy with just this job but it fails in the policy.

    Is deployment plug-in installed on your target machine and what does it's logfile say?

    Dont think I ever did - I just got round it by using xcopy pfft.

    Honestly I think this may be a bug with 7.1 sp1 as all of our copy file jobs started failing exactly like this after upgrade. Would be interesting to see an employees response on this. I will test again in my lab tomorrow....
