  • 1.  Vontu Manager not started

    Hello.

    I've received the next messages in VontuManage.log file....

     STATUS | wrapper  | 2012/02/09 01:32:07 | Launching a JVM...
INFO   | jvm 1    | 2012/02/09 01:32:07 | Error occurred during initialization of VM
INFO   | jvm 1    | 2012/02/09 01:32:07 | Could not reserve enough space for object heap
ERROR  | wrapper  | 2012/02/09 01:32:07 | JVM exited while loading the application.
STATUS | wrapper  | 2012/02/09 01:32:15 | Launching a JVM...
INFO   | jvm 2    | 2012/02/09 01:32:15 | Error occurred during initialization of VM
INFO   | jvm 2    | 2012/02/09 01:32:15 | Could not reserve enough space for object heap
ERROR  | wrapper  | 2012/02/09 01:32:15 | JVM exited while loading the application.
STATUS | wrapper  | 2012/02/09 01:32:20 | Launching a JVM...
INFO   | jvm 3    | 2012/02/09 01:32:20 | Error occurred during initialization of VM
INFO   | jvm 3    | 2012/02/09 01:32:20 | Could not reserve enough space for object heap

    installation.log has analog message:

[ERROR] com.vontu.install.i4j.VontuStartServiceAction: VontuStartServiceAction: The Vontu Manager service is starting..........

[ERROR] com.vontu.install.i4j.VontuStartServiceAction: Execute action not successful
[INFO] com.vontu.install.i4j.VontuStartServiceAction: Before execute action
[INFO] com.vontu.install.i4j.VontuStartServiceAction: Property serviceName: VontuUpdate
[INFO] com.vontu.install.i4j.VontuStartServiceAction: Property rollbackSupported: true

    How do your think which cause of this error?

    The Vontu Manager not started, I can't connect to web-console.

    Can you give a bit more information? When did you receive these messages? Was it during installation, right after installation? Were you operating normally being able to connect to the web console and then got this message unexpectedly during operation?

    Yes, of course.

    When did you receive these messages?

    Right after installation.

    Was it during installation, right after installation?

    Right after installation.

    Were you operating normally being able to connect to the web console and then got this message unexpectedly during operation?

    I can't connect to the web console right after installation.

    I've install DLP 11.5 in VMWare infrastructure.

    The problem was solved after adding additional memory to the virtual machine with Enforce Server.

    Ohh good stuff, I figured it was something like that =)
