  • 1.  How to set the SEPM central exception to monitor non-exe excutable files?

    Posted Sep 17, 2010 10:43 AM

We are using central exception in SEPM to monitor certain processes. It can monitor all the .exe files. But is there a way to monitor other excutable file, such as .scr file?

    Thanks.

centralized exception is to skip files from scanning .

so if you dont want to scan anything you put that in centralized exception to monitor application you need to set this

By default, File System Auto-Protect would be monitoring all files when accessed or modified, except for any you have specifically excluded by exceptions.   How exactly are you monitoring exe files via Centralized Exceptions?
