    Hi Everyone

Just wanted to know if anyone has deployed Endpoint to an entire group (or OU in our case as we have imported AD into the SEPM) by adding install packages to the "Install Packages" tab when in the clients section. See my screen shot below.

I've added packages to an OU and setup a schedule but nothing happened on the clients.

I know when you perform a remote push that you have to specify an admin account for the installer to use when connecting to the machine, however when using the "Install Packages" tab, you do not configure any admin account so I wonder if nothing has happened due to that?

    Any ideas or recommendations?

We may just email all our users with a link.. but this option looks good if we can get it working

    Thanks

    Hello,

Are you running a SEP SBE 12.1? As this are not options in SEP SBE 12.1.

I believe you are running SEP 12.1 Enterprise Edition.

The Screenshot what you have attached in in reference to the Auto-Upgrade of SEP clients from its previous  version of SEP?

Are you trying to Migrate OR is this a Fresh Install?

If this is a Fresh Install, then check this Article below:

    Hope that helps!!

    Hi thanks for your reply

    Yes we are running SEP12.1 (12.1.1101.401) RU1 MP1

The large majority of our clients are actualy 10.1 SAV clients and I wish to upgrade them to SEP.

I was hoping to attach the installation files to the tab shown in my screenshot and have the SEPM do the work for me , but it seems to do nothing.

I will look at your document, thanks, however I would prefer the SEPM to do it via this built in functionality.

    Regards

    Hello,

In case, if you need all the older clients to be migrated from the Legacy SAV 10.x to SEP SBE 12.1 then, you could Run the Client Deployment Wizard from the Manager console. It will walk you through the creation of a client package that can be deployed via a weblink and email, remote push, or saved for later local installation or deployment using third-party tools.
