Hi our Domino server have been halting (service terminated) regularly in a weekly interval. The service has to be manually started and unfortunately this has been causing disruption to operations especially when this occurs on a weekend, and incoming mails are not being received.  As per checking with Windows Event Log this is caused by symantec tamper protection as SEP is installed in our Domino servers. 'Belnapi.exe' is the target of the tamper and  this may be a bug between Lotus Domino and SEP.  Help is appreciated.

Are all the SEP components installed? I think it is safe to disable the Network Threat Protection on the server if the only traffic passing through is the one for mails and you have another security solution to handle that.

Create a Centralized in Tamper Protection for 'Belnapi.exe'  from the SEPM.

Do you also have the Back Exec alos insatlled on the same machine.

If the issue is not resolve by this disable the Tamper Protection .
Log into SEPM---> Click On Clients --> Policy---->Click on General Settings ---> Click on  Tamper Protection ---> Uncheck the Tamper Protection
