Network Threat Protection Blocking vmnetbridg.sys

Hi All,

I opened this tread because it appears that the link below could be in the wrong forum.

Our engineers using VMWare is having outgoing traffic blocked by Network Threat Protection. All attemps by me to find a work around via an exception or creating a new rule have failed.

Am I missing something or is there just NO fix for this? Our engineers are losing productivity and costing the company money.

Any help from Symantec would be greatly appeciated.

Remove the NTP component from add and remove programs and see if that helps.

Try adding an "Allow All "rule to the top of your FW policy. Test then move down one rule at a time until traffic is blocked. You can then troubleshoot the rule that sits above the "Allow All" rule.

I fix this problem disabling a RUle in the FW Policies who block IPv6.
