    Hello,

Yes, the older version of Resetpass.bat Tool is compatible and would surely work with the SEP 12.1.

    Check this Article:

How to Reset Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Console password in SEP 12.1

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-reset-symantec-endpoint-protection-manager-console-password-sep-121

    Hope that helps!!

    Hello,

Is the SEPM installed on Windows 7 machine?

In your case, could you please check the below options -

    1) Is the SEPM located in C drive or D drive?

    2) Is the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and Symantec Embedded Database services running in the services.msc?

    3) Is the UAC turned off?

    Hello Jun,

You can use the resetpass.bat to reset the password for the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager admin account version 11.

For version sep 12.X you can follow the below thread,

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO55059

    Hello,

Yes, please run the resetpass.bat Utility from the Tools folder.

If that does not help, please restart the Windows 7 machine.

    Hope that helps!!

    hi All,

i contacted support and request a resetbat, and its work.

the only thing i found out, there is a difference between SEP 11 ru7 resetbat from requested resetpass for SEp12 ru3.
