Hi!  I am running Endpoint at our business.  I have misplaced the password for the main console.  Is there anyway to recover it or reset it?

    Thanks!

Okay, I ran the resetpass.bat, tried the admin username and password, still nothing.  It will not let me log in as admin.  Any ideas?

    Thanks!

If you had too many failed attempts, you will still be locked out for 15 minutes (I believe that is the default).  Wait and try again after that period of time.

Look at the PDF file to see what the password is reset to, if you didn't already. :)

What   .pdf file shows the new password?

pdf would show how to reset the password..

well if you are running resetpass.bat then your default username is : admin (all lower case )
    password : admin ( all lowercase )

after that it gives u a prompt to change the password.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I will wait a bit and try again.  I will let you know how it turns out.

    Thanks!

    Hi Scott,

Run a repair on the SEPM installation through add/remove programs. After the repair is successful, run the resetpass.bat tool again and try to login with username and password as admin.
