We are looking for a more comprehensive explanation of how the damper Auto setting works for notifications. In particular, what timeframe is the damper Auto setting? The Symantec KB article about how to configure notifications indicated that the Auto setting is for 1 hour. However, the list of times available for the damper also include 1 hour. Anyone have experience with how this really works? Perhaps this is something that Symantec can add to the list of improvements for the internal help system.
