How to hide the 'Disable Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition' from clients.

Hello. We have just installed the Symanted End Point Protection Small Business Edition (SEP 12). We want to disable the feature of  'Disable Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition' from clients. We have locked the policies as assigned to users by the Management Server but... The option  'Disable Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition' is still available for the clients.

make sure the clients are communicating with the manager and they have green dot in the taskbar

When you click "Disable Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition"  on the client, only Network Threat Protection gets disabled. AV and PTP are still running on the client. Currently there is no way to remove the option or change this behavior. This may be changed in a future release of SEP 12 SBE.

Thank you Cycletech. By the way I have done all steps as described into https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep-sbe-120-locking-down-clients  but could not find the Location-Specific Settings of http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2007110514540148

Seems to be different version of EndPoint Manager.

@ Stevthym,

You are correct, that KB is for SEP 11 Enterprise. Many of the features and options in SEP 11 have been removed in SEP 12 SBE.
