    What is the version of Symantec AV you have and also are you looking for any spefic features in SEP 11.

    Migrating from SAV to SEP is very easy once you have planned everything on how to go about it.
    First would be how many clients you have.
    How many Servers (Primary/Secondary)
    Any Groups Configured with specific policies.
    In SEP do wanna go for Replication (Multiple SEPMs)
    GUPs,Which database you plan SQL or Embedded.

    What features do you need and what are your expectation from this product.

    Well if you have a small network
    Just go ahead Installed SEPM.Deploy Clients
    Remove SSC and deploy SEP on server.

    no clients ware imported except the client group.

    You cannot import or manage sav 10 clients using SEPM.
    only polices and Group Structure gets imported.
    To install SEP on those clients you have to deploy SEP on them.

    It depends what you want to acheive via replication.
    There is not much to confgure in replication but first you need to know what you have to do.
