Anyone know how, if possible, to parse out the SEP policies, for example firewall to a text file?
Other AV vendors do this, such as allowing you to export the centralized exceptions?
Did I totally miss this one :)
You can export the policy file but if you try to open in a text editor, it is encrypted. So I don't believe it is possible.
Hello,
Policy files are export in .dat format you can use DAT viewer for view file.

Any way to export firewall policies in text format?

DAT viewer is an internal tool that Symantec uses. It's not publicly available.
You cannot able to change it in .txt but you can export the file in .dat format and rename with .zip then then open the zip or export the file in .xml format and view the content.
