    Hi,

How do i check the size of my embedded database. I notice that it has been growing rapidly.

Is there a way to delete the logs from the embedded database?

    Thanks

the size of teh database can be identified by checking the size of this file.

    \Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\sem5.db

Also you can reduce the size of the log by reducing the content revision of defintiion as well storing less logs.

    Check the following articles

    Maintaining the database

Disk Space Management procedures for the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

Changing the log settings to reduce the size of the database.

Check embedded database size at following location

<Root drive >\Program Files or Program data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\sem5.db

I hope it will help you !!!

    Hi,

    Yes, you are correct.

Go into the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) and select Admin > Servers. Right-click on Local Site and select Edit Properties. One of the tabs will be Log Settings. This tab allows the Administrator to adjust how many log entries are kept and how long they are kept.

    Check this article
