  • 1.  Proactive Threat Protection showing waiting for updates

    Hello All,
    i installed SEP calient on one laptop 3 hours before. still the client is showing red circle in symantec shild in task manager,
    when i opened the symantec shield, the Proactive Threat Protection Showing "waiting for updates"
    please tell me how much time it will take to update the PTP definitions.

    open add/remove programs
    select symantec endpoint
    click on change
    click on modify
    remove PTP
    install
    reboot the box
    follow the same procedure now and install PTP
    check if that working

    I have the same problem on a PC with Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bits.

    After aplying the suggested solution by Rafeeq it looks well, three green checks, but PTP  still outdated.
    After waiting some minutes the same problem arise:

    Proactive Threat Protection is OFF, Definitions: "Waiting for updates" and Log says again the same:

    "TruScan has generated an error: code 11: description: Whitelist Failure"

    The Windows 7 is a fresh instalation.

    Are there a solution for this?
